About
the artist:
"I create bold celebrations of color and form. Through animal imagery, landscape and abstraction, I explore rhythm, pattern, and energy and their connection to the spiritual in nature. Energy is the overarching theme, playing across the surface, while pulsing from within.
My primary media are watercolor and gouache. I love the fluidity, immediacy and challenge of working with these paints.
Raised in New England, Ohio and Pennsylvania, I received a BA in Art from Penn State and, then, began my professional career in San Francisco. I returned to the Gettysburg area in 1992 and settled in Western Adams County. I have exhibited throughout the U.S. and have received several awards. I also work as a professional picture framer, living and working in an historic stone farmhouse with my wife, Julie, in the village of Cashtown."
Geoff works with us full time at Lord Nelson's Gallery and Gettysburg Custom Framing. When he's not working, it's a good bet he's either painting or out for a hike.
