Laying down the foundation of a new government took immense effort. The Declaration of Independence was created by many men, but finalized in writing by these few founding fathers; Thomas Jefferson, John Adams and Benjamin Franklin. Together at the Graff House in Philadelphia in June of 1776, they penned the basis for a new country.
