Whether it is pursuing big game, birds or small game, hunters have always had to endure temporary intrusions into their plans. So, while waiting out a rain and staying dry in a cabin put the "chase" on hold, it gives the hunter a time for reflection and in the case of his faithful companion, an opportunity to sleep.
