This painting will be on the cover of a new illustrated book Dean Morrissey is currently working on. The Bonnie Bowes is a kind of Robin Hood and his Merry Men story. She would suddenly appear out of nowhere out in the open sea and its crew would overtake unsuspecting Slave Ships with cannon, sword, and pistol. The slaves would be set free and loaded onto The Bonnie Bowes along with whatever treasures the Slave Ships were carrying. Bonnie Bowes was then said to have stripped the Slave Ships of their sails, leaving the Ships stranded at Sea before disappearing into the mist and smoke and eventually delivering the newly freed Irish and African former slaves to waiting safe havens. No release date has been set for the book. |
